ACETATES : I stumbled onto this gem of a bootleg while browsing in a CD shop. Normally I don't go for bootleg CD but this one was quite reasonably priced and well.....to make a long story short, I bought it and I have not regretted it.

Bad To Me ( Lennon / McCartney ) : This little gem was never officially released by The Beatles during their time and was given to Billy J, Kramer and it became their first No.1 in the UK. This demo by John is as sweet as it can get. Would surely have been a hit if given the full Beatles treatment.

One And One Is Two ( Lennon / McCartney ) : This is a Paul McCartney song given to a Mike Shannon. Not a very good song but as with everything Beatles still listenable.

Twelve -  Bar Original [ Complete ] ( Lennon / McCartney / Harrison / Starkey ) :  This is the longer version of this instrumental than the one featured on the Anthology 2 CD. Personally I think the trimmed version on Anthology 2 is better. This one just goes on and on and on. Makes good elevator music though.

A Day In The Life ( Lennon / McCartney ) : This is quite identical to the version on the Anthology 2 CD.

Magical Mystery Tour ( Lennon / McCartney ) : Never was a favorite of mine. This version is almost the same version on the original except for Paul's talking during the intro.

The Fool On The Hill ( Lennon / McCartney ) : The same version as on the Anthology 2 CD.

Blue Jay Way ( Harrison ) : One of George's lesser track on the "Magical Mystery Tour" album. Strangely I can tolerate it better in this version..

Your Mother Should Know ( Lennon / McCartney ) : A rather straight forward version which actually sounds better than the whole orchastral version.

I Am The Walrus ( Lennon / McCartney ) : When I first heard the original, it was too weird for me. I find this version more appealing.

Christmas Time [ Is Here Again ] ( Lennon / McCartney / Harrison / Richard ) : Beatles indulging at its most obviious. The chorus just goes on and on but however if you are not in a hurry, you could find some appeal in it, like I did.

Goodbye ( Lennon / McCartney ) : The second highlights after 'Bad To Me'. Given to Mary Hopkin and never commercially released by The Beatles, this demo is just great. A keeper.

Something ( Harrison ) : This acoustic version is not unlike the one found on Anthology 2 but slighter better here.

I Me Mine ( Harrison ) :  Another take of this song that's quite near the finished master.
